Pond Cottage is a wonderful place to get away from it all, it sits opposite it’s own private pond and is a beautiful, tranquil spot for viewing the abundant wildlife. The gardens teem with bird life, robins, tits, woodpeckers, cuckoos, herons, ducks. At night you will hear owls and if you’re lucky a nightjar. It is a birdwatchers paradise.
Pheasants, partridge, deer and our free range chickens – Ruby, Amber, Dotty and Bluebell wander freely. The pond, with it’s lily pads is home to ducks, moorhens, Canadian geese, dragon flies, newts, frogs, toads, roach and 3 varieties of carp.
Pond Cottage has it’s own large, private garden, with fruit trees, flower beds a sunny patio and a parking area. There is a paddock opposite which can be used for ponies or horses. Fishing on the pond is by arrangement. Pond Cottage also has it’s own woodland walks for you to enjoy.
Pond Cottage has been renovated and refurbished throughout to a very high standard, making it an extremely comfortable home from home. It has 2 attractive bedrooms, with the ability to be able to use the TV lounge as a third bedroom. 1 new luxury bathroom and a wonderful spacious new kitchen/breakfast room.
